My side window stop working.
Window regulators are components that make it possible to lower and raise the window glass in a vehicle at will. In some cases, the regulator is manual, requiring a person to operate the movement of the regulator using a hand crank. More commonly today, a window regulator is an automated device that is activated by pressing a toggle switch or a button found on the arm rest of the car door closest to the window.
Window Power Motor
The window motor is located inside the door panel behind the trim, and is responsible for raising and lowering the window when the switch is pressed. It is a reversible electric motor, powered up by an electric switch on the inside of the door. When the button to open or close the window is pressed, a circuit completes and the electric window motor cycles. The window glass is attached to a track and is on a window regulator that allow it to move squarely and smoothly up and down. If the window motor is faulty, you may experience a slow-moving window especially upward, the window may not move at all when the button is pressed, or the window may begin to sink back into the door after the power window switch is released.
